Work in progress

The pages which follow show my latest commissions. I record the various stages of the work progressing with a digital camera, then upload the images. I plan to show each current commission as it progresses - hopefully you will find it interesting. It also means that clients and potential clients can get a real insight into the process involved in creating their pet portrait.

As well as pet portraiture, I also work as an illustrator, and this comes through in my portrait work. There is an illustrative quality to it - I try to capture not just the all important physical likeness, but also to tell the viewer something about the subject's personality.
